Pic Verdaguer

Description

The Pic Verdaguer, at 3,129 metres, is the second highest summit in the Montcalm Massif and one of the three main peaks on the ridge that includes the Pica d'Estats. It is located on the border between Pallars Sobirà and Ariège (France). This peak is often summited right after the Pica d'Estats by mountaineers completing the massif traverse. It is named in honour of the poet Jacint Verdaguer.
