Sobrepuny de Baix

Sobrepuny de Baix (1,566 m) is a natural prominence located on the ridge of the Sobrepuny massif, in the Serra del Catllaràs. Although it is the "lower" peak, many hikers consider that from this natural balcony or spur you get superior views to those from the main summit, as the latter's tree cover can block the view to the north.

The summit is distinguished by being quite rugged and presenting a spectacular wall towards the south and west slopes. It offers priceless 360º views, including the dominant Pedraforca, the entire Cadí range, the Serra d'Ensija, Tossa d'Alp, and the town of La Nou de Berguedà in the valley floor.
