Penyes Altes de Moixeró and Moixeró via the Canal de la Serp

A demanding and beautiful outing starting from Greixer, reaching two gems of the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park. Both the ascent and the descent were via the Serpent's Channel (Canal de la Serp), an intense but very cool route thanks to the beech and pine forests that accompanied us for most of the way.

It was a sunny and hot day, but the shade of the forest made the path much more pleasant. First, we summited Penyes Altes, and then I continued towards Moixeró, closing a spectacular day between peaks and endless views towards Pedraforca, Cadí, the Cerdanya and Berguedà comarcas.
