A return to the Serra de Catllaràs Natural Park after a night of rain that left the air cool with a palpable sense of winter. The circular route starting from the Xalet del Catllaràs aimed for two of the range's most prominent peaks: the Roca del Joc (Roca de la Devesa Jussana) and El Pedró.
The day was highlighted by the ascent of Roc del Joc, an imposing white limestone rock formation. The final stretch is an exposed, equipped scramble (K1/K2) that rewards you with a spectacular 360° panoramic view, with clear sights of Pedraforca, Serra d'Ensija, and Cadí-Moixeró. The beech forests, having lost all their foliage, added a wintery touch to the skeletal structure of the woods.
After the scramble, the route continued toward El Pedró (1,765 m), a geodesic vertex and one of Catalonia's 100 emblematic peaks (ICGC). Despite its gentler shapes, it offers equally extensive views over the Llobregat valley and the Pre-Pyrenean landscape. The Catllaràs confirms itself as an excellent viewpoint, a circular route for disconnecting and enjoying magnificent views.
From El Pedró, the route continued with a gentle descent, passing by the Roca del Catllaràs and following the main track to the prominent Roc de la Lluna Viewpoint, a key spot for impressive views. Finally, the itinerary completed the loop by returning to the Xalet, thus concluding an intense and scenic day in the Alt Berguedà.
