We started the weekend in the Lleida Pyrenees with a must-see and relaxed stop at the Saut deth Pish in the Val d'Aran. Taking advantage of the afternoon, we took a short, easy walk, more to stretch our legs and enjoy the surroundings than to cover distance. It's a perfect spot for a short one-kilometre excursion (which can easily be extended by following the Varradòs River upstream).
We finished the route by cooling our feet in the river waters. Besides the impressive waterfall, the area offered us good observations of flora (orchids) and fauna, including the spectacular sighting of a European green lizard (Lacerta viridis).
