A different and solitary route to climb an Andorran classic. This time we started from the iron mine of Llorts, ascending towards the 'bordes' (traditional mountain huts/shepherd's houses) of Ensegur, a green and quiet setting after a day of rain.
A charming and little-used path that led us to Coll d'Arenes, the starting point for the final scramble towards Casamanya Nord (North), passing under Casamanya del Mig and subsequently reaching the famous Casamanya Sud (South). With this, we complete one of the most emblematic peaks in the country, one of them included in the '100 Cims' challenge and the other in the smaller "estripagecs" challenge (local challenge).
Fifteen years later, I return to enjoy this exceptional viewpoint in the heart of Andorra, between Ordino and Canillo, with 360º views over the entire country, surrounded by low clouds that gave a very special touch to the landscape.
