Description
A brief orchidological survey was conducted at Bassa d'Oles, a natural site located in the picturesque Val d'Aran. The primary objective of this short exploration was to identify and document any orchid species present in the area.
The outing successfully led to the discovery of several specimens of the Greater Butterfly-orchid, Platanthera chlorantha. These plants were observed to be in excellent condition, showcasing healthy foliage and robust inflorescences. Despite thorough searching within the survey area, no other orchid species were identified during this visit. The focus remained on appreciating the healthy population of Platanthera chlorantha found at this tranquil location.
