Limodorum abortivum: Anticipating Blooms in Cap de Creus

Description

During one of our inspiring treks through the region, specifically the challenging route between Cadaqués and Sant Pere de Rodes, which encompasses the three FEEC peaks, we made a very special discovery. Amidst the breathtaking landscapes of this iconic area of Alt Empordà, we came across a promising population of Limodorum abortivum.

We observed a total of about 13 specimens. The most notable aspect of this sighting is that, for now, they were not yet in flower.
