Cephalanthera longifolia: Abundant elegance in the Pre-Pyrenees
Observed on 6/9/2025
Description
The Cephalanthera longifolia, commonly known as the Narrow-leaved Helleborine, was a prominent find during our route through the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees. Unlike other species, we were fortunate to locate numerous specimens, all of them of a considerable size and in excellent blooming condition. This orchid is characterized by its narrow and elongated leaves which give it its name, and its elegant spikes of white flowers. Its abundant presence confirms the health "and" botanical richness of this mountain area.
