Information had been received indicating a particular site within Garrotxa where a specimen of this species was reported to be in excellent flowering condition. Acting on this lead, the expedition proceeded to the specified location. The subsequent observation confirmed the report: a robust exemplar of H. hircinum was indeed found, displaying its characteristic inflorescence in prime bloom.
